WOW!!!

I just have to say that I am SO happy with the take that Scott and I got of our new song "Safety Net". It's currently up at the Biofidelity blog, and I'm pretty stoked.

I have to confess that while I love the music we are creating, I was a mildly displeased with sections of my performance on the first two songs we posted (Blood Beneath the Skin, and Farewell (To a Rose)). But I was just so anxious to get our stuff "out there" that I just let go of the first halfway decent live performance we had of each song. Some moments were great, some made me cringe.

Not so with "Safety Net". I remember telling Scott just before he hit the record button, "Two weeks in a row we have come SO CLOSE to getting *THE* take on this song.....I've got a feeling this is going to be it." He was skeptical...but when it was over, I was convinced we had nailed it.
